Responsible AI

Keep human review close to the decision

Use automation to organize work while keeping consequential decisions accountable.

By InsuranceFlow Editorial · November 1, 2026

An assistant can help organize evidence and propose a next step. A responsible workflow records the recommendation, the evidence used, and the human decision. In a missing-signature workflow, the customer confirms the sample item, an authorized supervisor reviews it, and the simulated carrier responds separately. Keep the source, reviewer, reason, and time with that record. If information is incomplete, return the task with a clear explanation rather than quietly advancing its status. The NIST AI Risk Management Framework is a useful reference for evaluating the risks around proposed AI assistance; linking to it is not a certification. The InsuranceFlow tour demonstrates task organization only. It does not call an AI model or make coverage, eligibility, or underwriting decisions.
